How to obtain a birth certificate

• The parent has to take his son or daughter’s birth declaration delivered at the hospital to the Mayor’s office and this declaration should be valid within one month of delivery.
• At the Mayors office he receives in information sheet ;
• A one-month period is given for the birth certificate to be collected;
• After one month from the date of delivery, establishing a late birth certificate shall be subject to a court requisition.

N.B.: Birth certificates are established free of charge.
