Leisure and entertainment

Brazzaville, a hub for cultural activity (theatre, music and dancing), was chosen to host the biennial Pan African Music Festival (FESPAM), aimed at valorising and promoting African music in all its three great dimensions : traditional, modern and religious. This festival is a real cultural rendezvous offering exhibitions, workshops and symposia bringing together experts in musical arts.

Theatre halls are beginning to see the light of day, notably the CFRAD (the oldest located near the Presidency), the French Institute, the former French Cultural Centre and conference centres which are usually used as show rooms.
